This is the time of year when we celebrate. We spend time with loved ones, enjoy wonderful meals and holiday treats, and exchange gifts to enjoy. It’s also the season of giving.
For more than 200 residents in assisted living and skilled care at the Lutheran Home, we work hard to ensure that their holidays are merry. We accept donations of items and monetary gifts so that each resident receives personal items, apparel and other gifts that they need – and gifts that simply bring cheer.

Each year at the Lutheran Home, generous community members support our efforts to provide each resident with holiday gifts. If you can support us this year, the list below is a sample of items our residents need and appreciate. Your unwrapped gifts will be accepted at the Lutheran Home through December 17, 2024.

All proceeds go to the Footprints in Faith Foundation and will be used to provide special holiday gifts for our residents.
Your financial contributions allow our team to purchase personalized gifts for residents – things they truly want or need. This is especially important for our residents who have no family nearby, and for whom the holidays can be lonely. The Lutheran Home is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, and your financial gift is tax exempt. Donations can be made at any time, and 100% of your donations will go toward gifts and resident needs.

Adopt a Resident
If you’d like to adopt a resident, please click here to email us. Please include your name and contact information. You will receive an email back with the profile of a resident you can bless this holiday season. This will include their sizes, favorite color, favorite snacks and anything special they may want or need. Suggested giving amount $50-$100.
